MARKET TRENDS
The Problem
Spine care intervenes too late.Traditional open surgery — and most minimally invasive spine surgery (MISS) — treats advanced degeneration with reconstructive fusion. These rigid procedures are associated with adjacent segment disease, rising revision rates, prolonged recovery, and escalating system costs.
MISS promised less trauma but often replicates open surgery through smaller incisions, relying on indirect or “blind” techniques rather than true motion preservation and early intervention.
Late diagnosis. Fusion dependence. A growing revision epidemic.

The Market
Today’s spine market is dominated by late-stage reconstructive fusion — primarily performed by spine surgeons using traditional open techniques and conventional MISS.

At the same time, interventional pain physicians manage a large population of patients earlier in the disease process — but historically without structural procedural solutions.

Our strategy brings both groups toward the middle.
We are moving spine surgeons upstream — away from purely reconstructive surgery — and enabling interventional pain physicians to move beyond symptom modulation toward structural correction.
That middle represents a significant expansion of the Total Addressable Market (TAM).
By treating patients earlier with motion-preserving, anatomy-respecting procedures in the ASC setting:
-
More patients become procedural candidates
-
Fear of spine surgery decreases
-
Cost barriers decline
If successful, we believe this shift can expand the spine TAM to more than 3x its current size.
We are building the patented technologies, standardized training infrastructure, and outpatient execution model to lead that expansion.
The Solution
We are building a new specialty: Interventional Spine Surgery.

Rooted in our proprietary Less Exposure Spine Surgery (LESS™) philosophy and guided by REP™ principles — Restore Function, Early Diagnosis and Treatment, Preserve Anatomy and Motion — our approach shifts spine care from late-stage reconstructive fusion to earlier, motion-preserving intervention.

We bring spine surgeons and interventional pain physicians to the procedural middle — where structural pathology is treated before severe degeneration demands rigid fusion.
Modeled after the transformation of interventional cardiology, our platform combines:
-
Patented, motion-preserving technologies
-
Standardized training and certification pathways
-
Peer-reviewed clinical validation
-
ASC-optimized procedural execution
We are not making fusion smaller.
We are making earlier intervention possible.
Interventional Spine Surgery creates a scalable, outpatient-focused model designed to expand access, improve outcomes, and redefine the standard of care.
