REPDisc
REPDisc™ | REPair the Disc
REPDisc™
REpair the Disc.
Restore Function.
Early Diagnosis and Treatment.
Preserve Anatomy and Motion.
REPDisc™ is a LESS invasive, percutaneous outpatient procedure designed to treat chronic low back pain caused by degenerative disc disease (DDD). Unlike treatments that only mask symptoms, REPDisc addresses the underlying disc degeneration by supplementing lost nucleus pulposus tissue directly within the damaged lumbar disc.
Using a specialized, processed donor-derived nucleus pulposus allograft, REPDisc helps restore disc hydration, support disc integrity, and promote the body’s natural reparative processes from within the disc itself. The procedure is performed through a small needle-based approach under imaging guidance, minimizing tissue disruption and allowing patients to return home the same day.
REPDisc is intended for patients suffering from discogenic low back pain associated with tissue loss and dehydration of the lumbar discs, particularly those who have not achieved meaningful relief after at least six months of conservative care such as physical therapy, medications, or spinal injections.
Key Benefits
LESS invasive, percutaneous outpatient procedure
Targets the source of discogenic low back pain
Supplements lost nucleus pulposus tissue
Helps restore disc hydration and function
Motion-preserving alternative to more invasive surgery
Minimal tissue disruption and recovery time
Ideal Candidates
REPDisc may be appropriate for patients with:
Chronic low back pain originating from degenerative lumbar discs
MRI evidence of disc dehydration or degeneration
Persistent symptoms despite conservative treatment
Desire to avoid or delay more invasive surgical procedures
The Goal
REPDisc is designed to help restore the disc environment, reduce pain, improve function, and support a more active quality of life—while preserving the natural anatomy of the spine.
